A pickup truck went straight off the end of W 60th St where it meets
Grass Lake Terrace, over the curb and the barricade, down the bank and into the
northwest corner of Grass Lake (Kenny neighborhood, southwest Minneapolis).

Several emergency units arrived within minutes. Fire crews used an inflatable rescue boat
to reach the driver, who was brought out of the lake. Emergency crews cleared the scene
between about 12:50 and 1:15 AM.

It sat upright in the lake overnight and was winched out with cables through the trees
